Hi, I've found this thread while seeking for potential news about the cataclysm.

That guy, Eric, talks about this prediction and all on his webpage. He also adds it might have an error margin of three days from 25th. Thus I think we shall have some activity around here until Sunday.

Actually from reading on many astronomy sites, I've gathered that we can still be hit with fragments from 73P for many more weeks. Most if not all fragments from 73P are too small to do any real damage to Earth. Yet as Shoemaker Levey 9 proved: Even moderate sized chunks can do catastrohpic damage.
Thank God nothing did happen on the 25th. Who knows? Maybe these ALiens have voted not to wipe us out just yet because so many of you are doing such good things in your lives?

I'll keep you posted on any futher developments as it becomes relevant.

Now the net will be buzzing over 6/6/06.

Do good works upon the Earth. Don't let the paranoia dig too deep. And what ever you do, keep an open mind that is founded with good morals.

Couldn't help but chime in after reading the hilarity that is this thread. Truly the hysteria of paranoid delusionals such as yourselves make for entertaining reading. To think, people exist that actually buy into the claims of a guy that says aliens and God told him a tsunami would kill millions. Of course, this did not happen and will not happen, but i suppose there will always be those who are so easily manipulated into thinking everything and everyone is out to get them, and so out of some extreme insecurity they feel the need to glue themselves to their computers trying to spread fear and delusional ramblings as if there is some type of logical backing to them, which there isnt.

What sad lives you all must lead. Ironically like the next guy i am sure you would submit your freinds to the local mental institution once they start telling you their invisible freind has informed everyone that millions will die come apocalypse day, yet through the voice of God and aliens, you all walk free. A shame, but funny at the same time. Thanks for the entertainment.

“First I heard the noise of it coming down,” she said. “Then there's this crash and it shook the ground all around me. It was a pretty scary thing to go through.”

A large (2 SqFt) chunk of Ice fell in to the Ciechanowskis' back yard as they were grilling. Mr. Ciechanowski saw something fly across the sky that sounded like a missile. It landed in an empty yard next door to them. The impace created a 2Ft in diameter and 1 ft deep crater. Their first reaction, and that of the local police was to blame the ice on air craft. Mr Ciechanowski checked the internet and found that air plane ice is normally dumped over the ocean, and is blue. His ice was normal clear ice with traces of minerals embedded.
After contacting air traffic controllers, Mr. Ciechanowski was informed by the Federal Aviation Administration that they are unable to trace accidental "blue ice" droppings.

The problem here, is that the ice isn't blue.

The search for the unidentified object began on Saturday after witnesses reported that an object, possibly an aircraft, had crashed into the sea behind the breaker line off-shore of the Port Shepstone High School.

numerous witnesses -- including teachers and pupils attending a sports event at the high school, and other bystanders including local fishermen -- were convinced they had seen an aircraft go into the water, including seeing smoke and a water plume

Looks like things are falling all over the place. First in Australia, then New Jersey, now in South Africa..... Im just glad no one has been hit! :-)
